Due to the incoming cold (Thursday), the snow cover has stabilised. Avalanches are possible only on isolated very steep slopes, especially with high additional loads. Spontaneous avalanches are not expected.

The continuous snow cover in the Low Tatras occurs from an altitude of about 1100 m and reaches 50 to 80 cm at the highest altitudes. In the Western and High Tatras the snow is from about 1300 m above sea level and reaches mostly only up to 50 cm.
