Snow cover has stabilised and hardened in most places. The risk of falling in steep icy terrain exceeds the risk of avalanches. Only at the highest altitudes of the High and Western Tatras, inflated snow slabs may occur sporadically, especially on shaded, steep to extremely steep slopes and troughs. Their size and extent are small with possible loosening under high additional loads.
Snow cover is well consolidated and stable in most places. Only sporadically in the highest, shaded places can there be puffy snow pillows. The snow surface is mostly crusted or icy. Snow depth remains well below average for this time of year.
