The snow cover is firn-like and stable in most locations. Avalanche release is possible only sporadically on exposed southern slopes, especially with the arrival of midday and warming temperatures.     <snowpackStructureComment>During Thursday, the weather in the mountains of Slovakia will be influenced by a pressure high and a weak cold front, which will bring clear to partly cloudy weather. Snow cover is generally stable. The snow from the last snowfall period has already remade and settled. Continuous snow cover is found from 1400 to 1700 m above sea level, depending on orientation. Its height reaches 30 to 150 cm, with the most snow in the Low Tatras.</snowpackStructureComment>
